Based on Robert Crumb's underground comic, Fritz the Cat (Skip Hinnant) claims to be a seeker of truth, but the reality is that he's a young college student in the 1960's who's a slacker and constantly in search of cheap thrills, drugs, and sex. His libido leads him into numerous adventures across the 60's, from the hippie movement through police brutality, anti-war protests, black power, and finally the anarchist actions of groups like the Weathermen. |
